Its Wednesday and that means gaming! Tonight, prior to Dan's arrival, I will probably pull out Hermagor. I have not played this great game for some time now, and I have fond recollections of a two player game with Nate.
Then, with Dan, we will pull out Automobile and round out our game of the month session. This will be the groups third play of the game and my fourth attempt to understand its intricacies. I'll put up a post tomorrow, but let's just say that I am not expecting much.
Next week Mike will be absent from our gaming session (any takers out there, we need a third or fourth for the night). I am not sure what I will pull out. If it is just Dan and myself, it may be Twilight Struggle or perhaps the War for Oil game. This is an early Winsome war game that I am honestly not too excited about, but I picked it up in the math trade and would like to give it a go.
If we scrounge up some other gamers, I have Trainsport or Wabash Cannonball to try. Heck, I also picked up copies of T&E, Vinci, Key Harvest, or even InterUrban and I would love to give them a try.
Finally, I am stuck in this awkward position (at least in my head) for the moment regarding upcoming game days/weekends prior to my October departure. I have MBA coursework and trip planning to take care of, but I also need to get some gaming in. On those lines, I would like to schedule some Age of Steam days. Do I have any takers?
