Okay, I never thought that this would happen, and perhaps it will never occur again. But I had to cap my gaming session this Thursday. I have 4 people (not including myself) coming over for my bi-weekly Age of Steam night! I may have to (oh darn) make this a weekly event. Of course, that type of regularity would depend on a couple of additional players willing to make it a weekly event as well. Right now, Dan and Scott can make it every other week. Perhaps if I stagger the weeks Dan and Scott come and then if Louis and Jef want to make it to every week. So we will see, but I am incredibly optimistic. Oh, and tomorrow, I think that we are goint to try out one of the new Winsome Essen Set maps.
Tonight, I am going to break out the Memoir '44 Air Pack with Mike. Then, upon Dan's arrival, we will play End of the Triumverate. After that, if we have time, we will either play Wabash Cannonball or something very light, such as FITS.
It is odd. My trip, in my mind, feels like an end, but it is not. And I will be back. In these past couple of months, my gaming life and my life in general have improved drastically and I almost regret leaving everything go for 3 months. But when I return, it will still be there, ready to be set back into motion.
