This is a picture of Jeremy and me taken outside of the building that houses Da Vinci's "Last Supper."
Next up, you can see Angelo, Brad, and Jeremy's dramatic recreation of this well known masterpiece.
And here we are holding up souvenirs from inside of the gift shop. Interestingly, this was prior to our actual visit to the museum. We had to use the restrooms.
The next picture was taken in an ancient market near the center of the historic district in Milan. Angelo pointed out that this is a great example of different periods of architecture combined into one buidling.
On our tour of Milan with Angelo, the Basilica Di S. Ambrogio was the first church that we visited. Though it is not as tall as some of the other churches that we visited, it was a gorgeous church and I was glad that we were able to see a church that was not otherwise on our radar.
Before eating lunch, we visited the Castello Sforzesco, the numero uno protection for ancient Milan. Check out the holes in the walls of the fortifications, Angelo told us that they were used to unleash a hell-storm of arrows on any attackers who made it over the moat and into the interior of the first of the two sets of walls.
For dinner and gaming, Angelo took us to the largest ludoteque in Milan, "La Città del Gioco." It's empty now in the picture, but later that evening it was packed.
Below is a shot from War Angel. Bad things were about to happen to my team of ice creatures.
And, here is the lonely planet shot with Angelo (thanks again).
